QR Website Revamp - Online Survey


The Qualifications Register (QR) (www.hkqr.gov.hk) website was officially launched in May 2008, and had undergone a major revamp in 2013. To cope with the technology advancement and keep the look-and-feel of the website contemporary, QR website will be undergoing another revamp and turn into a new look in 2024.

 

A blueprint of the revamp is proposed at QR Revamp Proposal. We would like to invite you to spare a few minutes to share with us your comments on the proposal by completing the survey on or before 17 January 2024 (Wednesday).

6 December 2023:

HKCAAVQ with the support of the Qualifications Framework Secretariat held the Digitalisation for Green Future – QR Operators Briefing 2023 on 4 December 2023 to provide updates on the latest development of QF and QR, and to celebrate the soft launch of the Hong Kong Digital Credentials Hub (HKDCHub). The Briefing, attended by nearly 100 participants, was well received by operators.

QFQR4U – QR Promotion Campaign 2022 – Awarding Ceremony

 

The Awarding Ceremony of the QFQR4U – QR Promotion Campaign 2022 was successfully held on 10 November 2022 (Thursday). Nearly 50 participants attended the event, and spent a warm evening together to share the joyful moments of the winners of the video production competition.

QFQR4U – QR Promotion Campaign 2022

 

In collaboration with the Qualifications Framework Secretariat, HKCAAVQ is to launch the QR Promotion Campaign 2022.

 

QFQR4U – QR is your partner for planning your future is the theme of our promotion campaign this year, highlighting the key purpose of “QF and QR for you” to help formulating your planning for future studies and careers.

 

With the different elements encompassed in the campaign, HKCAAVQ aims to enhance stakeholders’ understanding and familiarity with the Qualifications Framework (QF) and Qualifications Register (QR), and to strengthen the connection with and involvement of stakeholders in the promotion of QF and QR.

 

There are four key events to be organised in the campaign:

1 September 2021:

Disable support for earlier versions of TLS


QR website adopts TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocol to ensure the connection is securely encrypted for confidentiality and data integrity. To maintain a high standard of data security, QR website will disable support to earlier versions of TLS (including TLS 1.0 and 1.1) by end of 2021. Users are advised to use the latest web browser and operating system in browsing QR website to avoid unnecessary interruptions.

8 July 2021:

Release of Video Guides for QR Mobile


Video guides for the key search functions of QR Mobile are now available. Users are welcome to visit the Help page of QR Mobile to have a quick look of the demonstrations on the key steps for searching your desired information. Users may still opt to read the Help text to get information of the search functions according to own preference as both formats are now available.

Launch of QR Mobile

 

 

We are pleased to announce the official launching of QR Mobile.

 

QR Mobile is purposefully designed to facilitate browsing and searching QR information with a mobile device. With a simple and easy-to-read layout, the QR Mobile enables the public to search qualification information and credit transfer arrangements of 8,000+ qualifications operated by 200+ operators at the fingertip. All content of the QR Desktop is available in the QR Mobile with customisation to fit for purpose. User can even bookmark their favourite records and share the information through common messenger applications.

 

Please access the QR Mobile (www.hkqr.gov.hk) with your mobile device to have a new experience in searching QR at the fingertip.
