For non-self accrediting operators:
Please approach the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) to accredit the learning programme(s) conducted by your organisation. The qualification of your learning programme can be registered in the QR after successful accreditation.
For the accreditation procedures, please visit the “Four-Stage Quality Assurance Process” in the HKCAAVQ website at www.hkcaavq.edu.hk.
For the QR registration procedures, please contact us by phone (Tel.: (852) 3658 0001), by fax (Fax no.: (852)2845 5951), or by email (QRAdmin@hkcaavq.edu.hk).
For self accrediting operators:
For self-accrediting Operators specified under Schedule 2 of the Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications Ordinance (Cap. 592), please contact us by phone (Tel.: (852) 3658 0001), by fax (Fax no.: (852) 2845 5951), or by email (QRAdmin@hkcaavq.edu.hk) for uploading qualifications on the QR.
The record of the qualification and the associated learning programme will still remain published in the Qualifications Register despite the change in Registration Status from “Current” to “Archived” and can still be retrieved for verification purpose.
The fee schedule can be obtained in the “Guidelines & Forms” under “QR Operators” on the Main page. For details, please refer to the fee schedule.
For advertisement of QF-recognised programme, please refer to the “Guidelines for Advertisements relating to the QF” published in the “Guidelines & forms” under “QR Operators” on the Main Page, or in the QR section of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications website at www.hkcaavq.edu.hk.
On the general understanding that an award certificate aims to certify a learner’s completion of a particular QF-recognised learning programme and is not for advertising purpose, the certificate will not be subject to the requirements on advertisements relating to the QF and Qualifications Register under the Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications Ordinance (Chapter 592).
If an operator intends to depict information relating to the QF-recognition of a learning programme on the award certificates, reference can be made to the Guideline for Featuring QF in Certificates (the Guideline) released by the Education Bureau. Operators are encouraged to feature key elements of QF (i.e. QF Logo, QF Level and QR Registration Number) in the certificates awarded to graduates of learning programmes that have been accredited under QF and are within the validity period. For details, please refer to the Guideline.
