This programme aims to nurture experts in gerontology to meet the challenges of ageing population in Hong Kong. The programme provides a full scope of theoretical knowledge in gerontology care, such as social gerontology, psychogerontology, public health, and health and social services planning and management. Students will have opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in planning, delivering and coordinating older people care services in a diverse setting. Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and values to work in different settings such as social care organizations, rehabilitation institutions, companies providing products and services to silver market.
