BHSc has 2 majors: Applied Gerontology (4y) & Nursing (5y). Graduates of Nursing major will be eligible to register as Registered Nurses of The Nursing Council of Hong Kong. Students must complete the Clinical Practicum to fulfil the Registered Nurse Requirement. The BHSc (major in Nursing / Applied Gerontology) programme was replaced by the Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) in Nursing and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Gerontology with effect from 1 September 2017 respectively.
